From macro photography to layers of watercolor
A close-up macro study of a flower in watercolor. This project focused on observing and capturing the intricate details of petals, color gradients, and organic forms at a magnified scale.

Building up the painting in layers allowed for gradual development of color intensity and depth. The first washes established the overall shapes and lightest values before adding darker tones and finer details.
